  Fright Fest                                                                                By Anna Silvio

Looking for something that will give you a scare? Fright Fest may be the place to find it, as it returns to the I. C. Light Amphitheatre at “Station Scare.” Fright Fest features three bone chilling attractions: The Haunted House, The Dark Hole, and The 3-D Clown Asylum.

As you walk through the dark tunnel that leads to the Fest, there are people jumping out at you left and right. Some will chase you even after exiting the tunnel.

The Haunted House is loaded with things intended to scare you, from chainsaw wielding maniacs to a huge dog. The Dark Hole has an elevator that plummets to the ground and floors that slope up and down, so watch your step. The 3-D Clown Asylum is full of creepy clowns and painted walls, which are even more terrifying if you wear your 3-D glasses.

Fright Fest also has carnival rides, games, and a movie playing on the big screen to entertain you as you wait in the lines. Side shows also feature performances by “Andrew the Impaled.”

All in all, it was a fun experience that does what it is designed to do, scare you.

Fright Fest is open through Halloween. The $12.00 admission cost includes unlimited walkthrough. From Sunday to Thursday, Fright Fest is open from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and from 7:00 p.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday.
